For the production of rubber blocks, the flat vulcanizing machine with a 600*600mm hot plate size, the mainstream models and core parameters are as follows (suitable for small and medium-sized rubber blocks, buffer blocks, and shock absorbers):

I. Standard Model and Tonnage (Commonly Used)

  • XLB-D 600*600 / 1.00MN (100 tons)
    • Molding Force: 100 tons (Suitable for most rubber blocks, mold cavity pressure is approximately 2.8 MPa)
    • Hot Plate Dimensions: 600 * 600 mm
    • Number of Hot Plate Layers: 2 layers (three plates with two layers) or 4 layers
    • Plunger Stroke: 300–400 mm
    • Hot Plate Spacing: 125–200 mm (Adjustable)
    • Heating: Electric heating, power per layer is approximately 3.0–4.5 kW
    • Temperature: Room temperature to 200–250℃
    • Temperature Control Accuracy: ±1~2℃
    • Structure: Four-column type (Most commonly used)
  • XLB-D 600*600 / 1.60MN–2.00MN (160–200 tons)
    • Suitable for large-sized, high-density, thick rubber blocks, or multi-cavity high-capacity molds
    • Greater clamping force, denser pressing, avoiding glue shortage and bubbles

II. Recommended Configuration for Rubber Blocks

  • Number of Layers: Prefer 2 layers (standard) or 4 layers (efficient)
    • 4-layer machine: Can place 4 sets of molds at once, production capacity doubles
  • Pressure:
    • Common rubber blocks (NR/SBR/EPDM): 100 tons is sufficient
    • High hardness, thick products, fluorine rubber blocks: Recommended 160–200 tons
  • Heating Method: Electric heating (Precise temperature control, simple installation, low maintenance)
  • Control:
    • Semi-automatic: Manual + automatic timing, exhaust, holding pressure, mold opening
    • Fully automatic (recommended): PLC + touch screen, automatic cycle, formula storage
  • Additional Functions:
    • Automatic exhaust (3–5 times): Reduces rubber block bubbles
    • Automatic ejection: Convenient for taking parts, improves efficiency
    • Fast and Slow Hydraulic Cylinders: Fast mold closure, slow pressure increase, protects molds

III. How Large Rubber Blocks Can Be Made with 600*600?

  • Single rubber block: ≤500*500mm (leave 50mm on each side for mold placement / exhaust)
  • Multi-cavity in one mold: For example, 100*100mm block → One mold can hold 36 blocks (6*6)
  • Height: ≤120–150mm (based on layer spacing of 125–200mm)
